SUARA RIMBA
We are a charitable foundation that works with local communities in Indonesia to lead impactful sound-based research.
Our work not only brings new discoveries about our shared planet but also catalyzes action to protect and restore healthy connections between people and their environments. Situated in diverse forested sites across Kalimantan, our programs focus on studying endangered wildlife, documenting local and indigenous knowledge, and protecting and restoring critical human-environment connections. Beyond research, we develop and deliver sound-based education and training programs for local audiences and partners in villages, universities, schools, and government agencies to inspire and empower others to realize our vision for a world tuned to nature.
